Some pics from my backyard as well as parents from Easter. Haven’t been able to get to one of the parks I like to shoot at for a couple weeks due to kids activities and crappy weather. Hopefully I will be able to go somewhere this weekend.

The bluebirds finally built a nest in my box. He is standing guard all the time now.

Was able to capture one picture of a hummingbird in my backyard.

First time seeing one of these, it was walking on the other side of my parents pond

To get this shot I had to focus on the flower and then try and catch the hummingbird right when it got there.

Backyard birds and other stuff

I haven’t been able to get to East End, Jesse Jones or River Grove park to take pictures as we have been busy with soccer, birthdays and other things on the weekends. I should be able to get some interesting pictures at may parents house this weekend for easter. Also my wife Trace and our friend Jacob competed in the Hyrox fitness competition this past weekend. Super proud of them, it is an extremely hard race and you need to be in really good shape to compete.

Backyard - Eastern Bluebird

A pair of Eastern Bluebirds have started checking out the birdhouse in the backyard. These are my favorite bird so hopefully they decide to move in. If you notice that the pictures look way better its because my beautiful amazing wife got me a new lens. 🙂

Centennial Park - Nashville, TN

I was in Nashville for some training and was able to go take some pictures on my lunch break on a day when it wasn’t too cold.

These are pictures taken on 12/28/2025 with the Canon R10 I received for Christmas from my beautiful wife Trace 😉 and daughters. At first I was nervous to take photos worrying they would not turn out well. Trace told me to just start taking photos and I did.
